Role Purpose The project manager is responsible for overseeing all technical activities within the company, ensuring the successful design, development, and delivery of software solutions.
This role combines technical leadership with project management responsibilities and acts as the primary point of reference for all development-related matters. The project manager serves as the main technical counterpart to the BOD and contributes to the company's technical strategy and execution.
Role & responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise the development team
- Define and maintain the overall software architecture and technical standards
- Make decisions regarding technologies, frameworks, and system design
- Plan, organize, and monitor the execution of development activities
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications and development tasks
- Assign tasks and manage priorities within the development team
- Ensure adherence to timelines, milestones, and delivery commitments
- Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices
- Ensure software quality in terms of performance, scalability, security, and maintainability
- Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies
- Support the onboarding and growth of developers within the team
Authority and Decision-Making
- Has full authority over technical decisions and architectural choices
- Defines development standards, tools, and workflows
- Approves technical solutions and code quality before release
- Provides input to the BOD on technical feasibility, timelines, and resource allocation
Reporting Line
- Reports directly to the BOD
- Oversees all developers and technical resources
