Role Description The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India , responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects related to plant expansion, equipment installation, process improvement, utilities, and infrastructure development.

The role involves managing project activities from planning through execution and commissioning, coordinating with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants, and ensuring that projects are completed within defined timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing project plans, technical specifications, layouts, BOQs, schedules, and progress reports; coordinating civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility-related activities; monitoring site execution; resolving technical issues; tracking project milestones and costs; and supporting equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.





The Project Engineer will work closely with production, maintenance, process, quality, procurement, utilities, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution with minimum disruption to ongoing plant operations.

Qualifications

- Engineering Graduate, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline .
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in engineering projects, plant expansion, installation, commissioning, or manufacturing projects .
- Relevant experience in the maize processing, starch, food processing, agro-processing, or process manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of project planning, engineering drawings, equipment installation, utilities, and plant infrastructure .
- Hands-on experience in project execution, erection, installation, testing, commissioning, and project coordination .
- Ability to prepare and review technical specifications, BOQs, project schedules, layouts, and engineering documentation .
- Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, consultants, procurement teams, and internal plant departments .
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, progress monitoring, and resource planning .
- Strong problem-solving, technical coordination, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple project activities while maintaining timelines, quality, and safety standards.
- Positive documentation, reporting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong focus on project safety, execution quality, cost control, timely completion, and operational readiness .
