Role Description The Project Engineer Piping is a full-time, on-site role based in Jajpur. This position is responsible for planning, Exicution and reviewing piping systems for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.

Day-to-day tasks include preparing and checking piping layouts and isometric drawings, coordinating with process, mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams, and supporting material take-offs and BOQs. The role involves working closely with project managers and construction teams, resolving technical issues at site, and providing input on schedules, cost control, and quality assurance.

Piping will also liaise with vendors,



support installation and commissioning activities, and maintain explicit documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of piping principles, piping layouts, isometrics, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM).
- Proficiency with engineering and drafting tools commonly used in piping design (e.g., AutoCAD, 3D modeling or plant design software). Will be an advantage.
- Experience in industrial projects, Piping, Cross Country Piping, preferably in construction or process industries, with exposure to site execution and coordination.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs;, and technical documentation, and to prepare accurate material take-offs and BOQs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and interface with clients and vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Jajpur and to visit project areas as needed for inspections, coordination, and issue resolution.
