ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Purpose/Objective

To carry out all documentation activities during the shift.

To coordinate with customs officers/Consol Agents/CHA/contract employees for
smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

Functional requirements:
Preparing shift reports of containers/cargo handled.
Generating of document/job order/gate passes of containers/cargo
Data entry in the system regarding of cargo/containers handled
Co-ordination with custom officials.
Cordial coordination with CHAs
Co-ordination with team on day-to-day operations/activities
Co-ordination with accounts department regarding various activities for
proper billing of all activities handled with particular
consignment/container.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

Skills and Competencies

MS Office, Computer Skills, Knowledge on CFS MAG.

Knowledge in customs procedures & regulations will be added advantage.

Stakeholder

Internal: IT, Terminal Documentation/operations team, Finance team, Engineering
team, HR team, Security supervisor/guards, contractors, documentation teams of
other container terminals in Chennai for movement of containers.

External: Customs, Consol agents, CHAs, Transporters, Shipping lines
Educational Qualification (min)

Degree or Diploma from a reputed institution
Preferred Certifications if any
Range/ Min no of years - of overall Experience required

Minimum 2 years experience in CFS document Operations
Min no of years of Industry specific experience required, if any &
the industry type

Minimum 2 years experience in CFS document Operations
