Role Description The Program Counsellor is a full-time, in office role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role involves guiding prospective students, faculty, and institutional stakeholders through Yangpoo’s program offerings, explaining Harvard-linked certifications, and helping them choose suitable courses aligned with their academic and professional goals.

The Program

Counsellor will conduct counseling sessions via in-person meetings, phone calls, and digital platforms, manage leads, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and follow up with interested participants to support enrollments.



The role includes coordinating with internal academic and marketing teams to ensure smooth program delivery, organizing information sessions and webinars, and addressing queries related to curriculum, pedagogy, and learning outcomes.

The Program

Counsellor is also expected to track enrollment targets, provide regular reports, and contribute feedback to improve counseling processes and participant experience.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand learner needs and recommend suitable programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident presentation abilities.
- Basic proficiency in CRM or lead management tools, and comfort working with spreadsheets and online collaboration platforms.
- Ability to build relationships with students, faculty, and institutional partners, and handle multiple stakeholder interactions professionally.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a focus on meeting enrollment and outreach goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, management, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, or education services is preferred but not mandatory.
- High level of motivation, integrity, and willingness to learn about Harvard-linked programs and global education trends.
