- Ph.D. Degree with First Class Master’s Degree in Psychology and experience of ten years in teaching, research, industry and / or profession at the level of Professor/Associate Professor/Reader or equivalent grade;

- In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:

1.

First Class

Master’s Degree in Psychology and significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch and industrial / skilled experience of ten years at a senior level comparable to Associate Professor / Reader.

- Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books, and / or technical reports;

/n

Experience of guiding the project work, dissertation of post graduate or research students or supervising R & D projects in industry;

/n

- Capacity to undertake / lead sponsored R & D, consultancy and related activities.

/n /n /n Desirable: /n /n

- Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and / or professional activities;

/n

- Evidence of service to University, the Profession and the Community;

/n

- Evidence of Curriculum Development.





/n /n /n ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR /n /n Essential: /n /n /n

- A Ph.D. Degree and a Master’s Degree in Psychology with at least 55% marks and experience of eight years in teaching, research, industry and / or profession at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade; excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.

/n /n /n OR /n /n

- In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential: First Class Master’s Degree in Psychology and significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. degree in appropriate branch and industrial/professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer/Assistant Professor.

/n /n /n Desirable: /n /n 1.Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; /n 2. Minimum 5 Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books and / or technical reports; /n 3.

Experience of guiding the projects work, dissertation of post graduate or research students or supervising R & D projects in industry; /n 4. Evidence of Curriculum Development.
