Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Production Supervisors with hands-on experience in Aluminium Gravity Die Casting (GDC). The selected candidates will be responsible for managing shop-floor production, manpower, process parameters, quality, productivity, and shift operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day Aluminium Gravity Die Casting (GDC) production activities.
- Achieve daily and shift-wise production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor GDC process parameters such as metal temperature, die temperature, pouring parameters, filling, solidification, and cycle time.
- Ensure proper die preparation, preheating, coating, pouring, and casting practices.
- Monitor production processes to minimize rejection, downtime, and material wastage.
- Identify and troubleshoot casting defects such as porosity, shrinkage, cold shuts, misruns, cracks, inclusions, and dimensional defects.
- Conduct rejection analysis and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and quality.
- Handle manpower allocation and ensure effective utilization of operators and workers.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, PPC, and Stores teams for smooth production.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, rejection reports, and other required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, safety,



TPM, Kaizen, and standard operating procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy, or a related discipline preferred.
- ITI candidates with strong and relevant GDC experience may also be considered.

Required Experience & Skills
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Aluminium Gravity Die Casting (GDC).
- Strong knowledge of GDC dies, pouring methods, die coating, melting and pouring practices.
- Good understanding of common aluminium casting defects and their corrective actions.
- Experience in production planning, manpower handling, and shift supervision.
- Knowledge of production targets, rejection control, productivity improvement, and process monitoring.
- Working knowledge of 5S, TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.
- Valuable coordination, problem-solving, and team-handling skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with strong shop-floor experience in Aluminium Gravity Die Casting will be preferred.
- Candidates who can independently manage production shifts and manpower are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates willing to work in shifts at Miraj, Maharashtra are preferred.
