- Plan and execute daily, weekly and monthly production as per production requirements.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned time and approved specifications.
- Supervise all manufacturing, blending, formulation, filling and packing activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, Batch Manufacturing Records and approved process parameters.
- Monitor batch yield, raw-material consumption, rejection, rework and production losses.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, R&D;, Maintenance, Stores and Packing departments for smooth production.
- Support R&D; trials, recent product development, scale-up and commercialization of new formulations.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials and utilities.




- Monitor machine breakdowns and coordinate with Maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, discipline and safe working practices in the production area.
- Ensure employees use required PPE and follow all EHS and chemical-handling procedures.
- Maintain proper production records, batch documents and daily production reports.
- Implement process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Train and develop production supervisors, operators and workers.
- Monitor production KPIs and submit regular performance reports to the Plant Head.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, statutory regulations and audit requirements.
