Hiring: Production & Procurement Manager

Bajoria Industries — Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu

Bajoria Industries is a salt trading and packaging business supplying industrial and edible salt across South India. We are looking for a Production & Procurement Associate to take ownership of our sourcing-to-dispatch operations.

About the Role

This is a hands-on operational role sitting at the center of our production chain — from deciding where salt is sourced, to overseeing packaging, to planning loading and dispatch. You'll work closely with management on labor and supplier payment cycles, though final financial sign-off stays with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement

- Identify and manage relationships with salt manufacturers/suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of all purchase bills

Production & Packaging

- Decide and oversee where packaging takes place
- Determine and monitor packaging quantities
- Track packing material stock levels and schedule timely replenishment

Dispatch & Logistics

- Determine the loading location for each order
- Plan loading schedules for current and upcoming dates

Labor Management





- Maintain labor payment records
- Coordinate labor cost calculations with higher management

Finance Coordination

- Liaise with management on payment cycles for both suppliers and labor
- Handle routine billing tasks
- (Note: this role records and coordinates payments; final sign-off rests with management)

What We're Looking For
- No fixed experience requirement — we're looking for the right fit over a specific number of years
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail (this role touches purchase records, labor records, and billing)
- Comfortable coordinating across suppliers, labor, and management simultaneously
- Based in or willing to relocate to Tuticorin
- Prior experience in production, procurement, warehouse, or logistics operations is a plus but not mandatory
