Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Cost Control

Prepare and release rolling monthly, weekly and daily production plans for Units 01, 02 and 03 based on sales orders, capacity, inventory and dispatch priorities.

Coordinate with Sales and plant teams to reduce loss-making yarn counts and maintain production cost per kilogram below the approved budget or benchmark.

Allocate counts, lots, blends, fibres and machines to meet output targets with practical sequencing and minimum avoidable changeovers.

Review plan-versus-actual production, cost and capacity variances daily; initiate recovery plans and escalate constraints early.

Delivery, Utilization & Process Efficiency

Drive on-time, in-full production readiness in line with the committed dispatch plan and maintain at least 95% OTIF performance.

Sustain average spindle utilization at or above the approved target through load balancing, bottleneck management and coordination with Production and Maintenance.

Prevent unnecessary repetition of the same count on the same machine and, wherever technically feasible, schedule count changes within the same blend and fibre family.

Facilitate daily planning meetings and coordinate priorities with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Procurement, Sales and Logistics.

Systems, Reporting & Capability

Lead PPC requirements, master-data readiness, testing, user adoption and disciplined transaction entry for Odoo ERP implementation by July 2026.

Maintain accurate planning MIS and dashboards covering orders, capacity, WIP, count-wise production, utilization,



changeovers, OTIF and risks.

Standardize PPC processes, planning calendars and escalation protocols; conduct at least three technical training sessions focused on PPC improvement.

Decision Rights & Key Interfaces

Planning authority

Release and revise production plans within approved sales priorities, capacity and quality constraints.

Escalation authority

Flag delivery, cost, material, quality or capacity risks and propose recovery or reprioritization actions.

Internal interfaces

Sales, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, IT/ERP and HR.

Team leadership

Guide PPC executives/planners and data coordinators, as applicable; set review routines and accountability.

Candidate Profile

Qualification: Degree or diploma in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Production/Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience: Typically 8-12 years in spinning-mill production planning/operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Technical knowledge: Yarn counts, blends and fibres; spinning capacity and machine allocation; production costing; WIP and inventory control; quality and delivery planning.

Digital capability: Solid Excel/MIS skills and hands-on ERP exposure; Odoo implementation experience is preferred.
