Role & responsibilities

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

- Manage procurement activities for solar EPC projects and corporate requirements.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for cost reduction and supply continuity.
- Source and evaluate vendors for solar modules, inverters, structures, cables, transformers, SCADA, and other EPC materials.
- Prepare RFQs/RFPs, compare quotations, and conduct techno-commercial evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contracts with suppliers.

Vendor Management

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Conduct vendor assessment, qualification, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure supplier compliance with company quality, safety, and delivery standards.
- Build alternative supplier networks to reduce procurement risks.

Contract & Commercial Management
- Finalize purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in line with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial terms.
- Monitor procurement budgets and support project cost control.




- Coordinate with finance for payment processing and reconciliation.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate with engineering, project execution, logistics, and stores teams for material planning.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Resolve procurement-related issues affecting project schedules.
- Track procurement schedules and maintain MIS reports.

Inventory & Compliance
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock availability.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, statutory requirements, and audit processes.
- Maintain procurement documentation and ERP records.

Preferred candidate profile

- Solid negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of solar EPC materials and procurement processes.
- Commercial acumen and contract management expertise.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
