We’re Hiring: Principal / Staff Roku Engineers – BrightScript

Location: Bangalore, India – Onsite

Engagement: 9–10 months | Full time, 40 hrs/week

We are looking for highly experienced Principal / Staff Engineers specializing in Roku BrightScript to work on a complex streaming application.

Must-Have Expertise

- Strong hands-on experience with Roku BrightScript & SceneGraph
- Proven architecture experience with large-scale streaming/OTT applications
- At least one Roku application successfully shipped and currently in production, having passed full Roku Channel Certification
- Deep expertise in SceneGraph threading, render-thread isolation & asynchronous Task nodes
- Strong experience with memory/performance diagnostics,



including BrightScript Profiler and leak prevention
- Ability to design componentized, contract-driven BrightScript architectures
- Experience reverse-engineering native/C++ SDK behavior and implementing equivalent functionality in BrightScript
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills on resource-constrained Roku hardware
- AI/specification-driven development experience is a plus
