Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate Hindi lessons as per the school's curriculum.
- Teach Hindi grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, comprehension, and basic literature.
- Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Hindi.
- Use activity-based, interactive, and experiential teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching-learning materials, and classroom activities.
- Conduct storytelling, poetry, recitation, role plays, and other language-based activities.
- Assess students through classwork, assignments, tests, projects, and periodic assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of students' academic progress and performance.
- Identify students who require additional academic support and provide appropriate intervention.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to improve their language skills.
- Maintain an inclusive, positive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Encourage students to participate actively in Hindi-related activities and competitions.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and areas of improvement.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and other school meetings.
- Collaborate with other teachers and coordinators for academic planning and school activities.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, assemblies, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain required academic documentation and student portfolios.
- Ensure adherence to school policies, procedures, and child-safety guidelines.
- Attend teacher training and professional development programs.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by the School Leadership Team.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent Hindi language proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Solid classroom management and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of primary-level Hindi grammar and literature.
- Ability to make Hindi learning interesting and engaging for young children.
- Creative approach to lesson planning and activity-based learning.
- Patience and a child-friendly approach.
- Good interpersonal and parent-handling skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team.
- Basic computer and digital teaching skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Hindi or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. / equivalent teacher-training qualification preferred.
- Candidates with Hindi as a major/specialization will be preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in a primary school.
- Experience teaching Hindi to Primary Grade students is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in a structured/CBSE/ICSE school environment will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
