Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Executive with experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. The candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive quotations, negotiating freight rates with carriers and vendors, maintaining tariff databases, and supporting the sales team with timely pricing solutions for Air, Ocean, and Surface shipments.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare accurate and competitive freight quotations for import and export shipments.

· Obtain freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, transporters, co-loaders, and overseas agents.

· Negotiate rates with vendors to achieve the best commercial terms.

· Coordinate with the Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Overseas teams to ensure timely quotation submission.

· Maintain and update rate sheets, tariffs, and vendor contracts.

· Analyze market trends, freight fluctuations, and competitor pricing.

· Ensure all quotations comply with customer requirements and company profit margins.

· Follow up with vendors for rate validity, space availability, and service schedules.

· Assist the Sales team in preparing RFQs, tenders, and customer proposals.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, and transport vendors.

· Maintain records of quotations and pricing history for future reference.

· Support strategic pricing decisions through market intelligence and data analysis.

Required Skills





· Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations.

· Understanding of Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), Air Freight.

· Knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping documentation, and trade practices.

· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

· Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and freight forwarding software/ERP systems.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet strict turnaround times.

· Good organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

· 2–5 years of experience in Pricing within a Freight Forwarding or Logistics company.

· Experience in handling both Import and Export pricing is preferred.

· Knowledge of Ocean, Air, and Surface freight pricing is desirable.

Preferred Candidate Profile

· Prior experience in a freight forwarding, NVOCC, or logistics organization.

· Strong network with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents.

· Commercially aware with excellent negotiation skills.

· Ability to prioritize multiple quotations while maintaining accuracy.

· Customer-focused with a proactive approach to resolving pricing queries.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
