Job Summary

· Manage production planning, fabric production schedules, material availability, order tracking, and coordination between sourcing, production, quality, warehouse, and merchandising teams to ensure timely delivery of fabric requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer/order requirements.

· Coordinate with Merchandising, Fabric Sourcing, Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams.

· Track fabric orders from order confirmation to production and final dispatch.

· Prepare production schedules based on capacity, machine availability, manpower, and delivery timelines.

· Monitor fabric production progress and identify delays or bottlenecks.

· Follow up on raw material, yarn, dyes, chemicals, trims, and other material availability.

· Maintain production trackers, order status reports, WIP reports, and delivery schedules.

· Coordinate with production teams for looming, knitting, dyeing, printing, finishing, and other fabric processes, as applicable.

· Monitor production capacity versus actual production and highlight deviations.

· Ensure production is aligned with quality standards and required specifications.

· Coordinate with Quality teams to resolve quality-related production issues.

· Follow up on rework, rejection, wastage, and production losses.

· Maintain accurate ERP/system entries and PPC-related documentation.

· Prepare daily MIS reports and communicate production status to management.





· Escalate material shortages, production delays, quality issues, or capacity constraints that may impact delivery.

· Support inventory planning and avoid excess stock or material shortages.

· Ensure production plans are aligned with OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery targets.

Required Skills

· Valuable knowledge of textile/fabric manufacturing processes.

· Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling.

· Knowledge of fabric production, dyeing, printing, finishing, and quality processes.

· Good Excel skills – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filters, and basic MIS reporting.

· Knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.

· Strong coordination and follow-up skills.

· Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.

· Good communication skills with production and cross-functional teams.

Education

· Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate

· Candidates with experience in textile mills, fabric manufacturing, dyeing/printing units, or garment manufacturing companies will be preferred.

Pay: ₹33,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
