Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and business intelligence reports. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and SQL, with the ability to understand business requirements and convert them into meaningful visual reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.

- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into effective reporting solutions.

- Connect Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and other databases.

- Perform data transformation, cleansing, and preparation using Power Query.

- Create efficient data models, relationships, calculated columns, and measures.

- Develop complex DAX calculations for KPIs, business metrics, and analytical requirements.

- Design dashboards using ,Report Buildert,charts, tables, cards, slicers, drill-throughs, bookmarks, and other Power BI features.

- Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service.

- Configure and monitor scheduled data refreshes and gateways.

- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) where required.

- Optimize dashboards, DAX, and data models for better report performance.





- Troubleshoot data, refresh, visualization, and report performance issues.

- Validate data accuracy and ensure dashboards meet business requirements.

- Maintain and enhance existing Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Collaborate with business users, data analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.

- Good knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).

- Strong understanding of data modeling and relationships.

- Valuable working knowledge of SQL.

- Experience in developing business dashboards and KPI reports.

- Knowledge of Power BI Service, workspaces, datasets/semantic models, and report deployment.

- Understanding of data visualization and dashboard design principles.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with Power BI Gateway and scheduled refreshes.

- Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS).

- Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric,Excel, Azure Data Factory.

- Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization.

- Knowledge of Power BI deployment pipelines and CI/CD.

- Experience in enterprise reporting environments.
