Key Responsibilities

- Teach Mathematics to Classes IX–XII (ISC) and, where required, senior classes under the ICSE curriculum.

- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-based lessons aligned with CISCE/ISC curriculum and examination requirements.

- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, revision materials and other academic resources.

- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

- Prepare students effectively for CISCE Board examinations, focusing on conceptual understanding, problem-solving and examination techniques.

- Maintain accurate academic records, assessment data and student progress reports.

- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial/enrichment support as required.

- Use appropriate teaching methodologies, digital resources and activity-based approaches to enhance learning.

- Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, PTMs, workshops, school events and other assigned responsibilities.

- Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic coordinators to maintain academic standards.

- Maintain discipline and create a positive,



inclusive and student-friendly classroom environment.

- Stay updated with CISCE curriculum changes, examination patterns, assessment practices and Mathematics pedagogy.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics from a recognised university.

- B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred as per school requirements.

- Strong knowledge of the CISCE/ICSE/ISC curriculum.

- Good command of English communication and classroom presentation skills.

Experience

- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience, preferably as a PGT Mathematics teacher.

- Prior experience in an ICSE/ISC/CISCE-affiliated school is highly preferred.

- Candidates with proven experience preparing students for ISC Board examinations will be given preference.
