Role Description The Polymer Compounder role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, responsible for preparing polymer batches according to defined formulations and production schedules. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and mixing raw materials, operating compounding equipment, monitoring batch processing parameters, and ensuring products meet quality specifications. The role involves completing production records, performing in-process checks, identifying and reporting deviations, and working closely with quality control and production teams to maintain consistent output.
The Polymer
Compounder may also handle material movement within the facility,
follow safety and housekeeping standards, and support preventive maintenance activities on relevant machinery. This position offers a salary up to 60K, commensurate with experience and skills.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust skills in compounding and batch processing, including accurate weighing, mixing, and handling of polymer materials.
- Candidates should possess quality control skills, such as performing inspections, basic testing, and documenting results to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Candidates should possess communication skills that support clear reporting, coordination with supervisors and team members, and adherence to production instructions.
- Candidates should possess safe forklift operation or material handling skills, or be willing to train in these areas as required.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in plastics or polymer manufacturing, knowledge of safety and PPE standards, ability to read and follow SOPs, basic computer literacy for production data entry, and a relevant technical diploma or vocational training in chemical, plastics, or manufacturing disciplines.
