Location - Oragadam

We are looking for a skilled Plumbing Technician to carry out installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of plumbing and sanitary systems at project sites. The technician will ensure that all plumbing works are completed safely, efficiently, and as per approved drawings and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Install and maintain water supply, drainage, sanitary, and related plumbing systems.
- Read and understand plumbing layouts, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform pipe cutting, threading, joining, fitting, and installation.
- Install sanitary fixtures such as wash basins, WC, urinals, faucets, valves, and other plumbing accessories.
- Identify and rectify water leakage, blockage, pressure, and drainage issues.
- Conduct pressure testing and leak testing of plumbing lines.
- Coordinate with MEP Engineers, supervisors, and other site teams.
- Ensure proper alignment, slope, supports, and installation of plumbing pipelines.
- Follow approved work methods, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in proper working condition.
- Report material requirements, site issues, and work progress to the supervisor.
- Attend plumbing maintenance and breakdown complaints as required.




- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping at the work area.

Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Plumbing or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, or MEP projects.
- Good knowledge of plumbing tools, fittings, pipes, valves, and sanitary fixtures.
- Ability to understand basic plumbing drawings and layouts.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Physically fit and willing to work at project sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
