PLC Programmer with strong experience in wastewater or water treatment automation systems (WWTP/STP). The role involves developing and maintaining PLC/SCADA systems used for monitoring and controlling treatment processes such as pumping, filtration, aeration, and chemical dosing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC programs for wastewater treatment plants (WWTP/STP)
- Configure and maintain SCADA/HMI systems for plant monitoring and control
- Work on automation of key processes:
- Pumping stations
- Aeration systems
- Clarifiers and filtration units
- Chemical dosing systems
- Integrate field instruments (flow, level, pressure, pH, DO sensors) with PLC systems
- Troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation issues
- Interpret P&ID; diagrams, electrical schematics, and control narratives
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of PLC programs

- Strong PLC programming experience:
