Photo & Videography Trainer / Faculty

Qualification

- Postgraduate qualification in Photography, Visual Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism & Communication, Film Studies, Media Production, Cinematography, or a related discipline.
- Degree from a UGC-recognised University/Institution.
- Candidates with relevant industry experience and a strong professional portfolio will be preferred.

We are looking for a skilled and industry-oriented Photo & Videography Trainer to train undergraduate students in the fundamentals and advanced practices of photography and videography.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct practical and theoretical sessions in Photography and Videography.
- Train students in camera handling, composition, framing, lighting, exposure, lenses, and visual storytelling.
- Teach professional photography techniques including portrait, product, event, documentary, and creative photography.
- Train students in videography, cinematography, camera movements, shot design, visual composition, and production techniques.
- Provide hands-on training with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, audio equipment, tripods, gimbals, and other production tools.
- Introduce students to skilled workflows for photo and video production.




- Train students in post-production and editing using relevant industry-standard software.
- Develop practical assignments, projects, portfolio exercises, and industry-oriented learning activities.
- Mentor students in developing professional portfolios and showreels.
- Organise workshops, masterclasses, field assignments, and industry exposure activities.
- Evaluate student projects and provide constructive creative and technical feedback.
- Keep students updated with emerging trends, technologies, and industry practices.

Desired Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of Photography, Videography and Visual Storytelling.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to demonstrate concepts through hands-on training.
- Knowledge of professional camera, lighting, sound, and production equipment.
- Familiarity with photo/video editing and post-production workflows.
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating professional work.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant academic/industry experience preferred. Candidates with exceptional portfolios and strong subject expertise may also be considered.

Pay: ₹9,902.99 - ₹37,684.82 per month
