Pharmacy In-Charge

Job Location: Kushalnagar, Karnataka

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Pharmacy In-Charge to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy, ensure proper medication management, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily pharmacy operations and supervise pharmacy staff.
- Ensure proper dispensing of medicines as per valid prescriptions.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and proper storage of medicines.
- Maintain purchase, stock, issue, return, and expiry records.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, purchase, stores, and hospital administration.
- Ensure controlled and high-alert medicines are properly stored and documented.
- Conduct regular stock verification and minimize wastage and shortages.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, hospital policies, and safety standards.
- Handle medicine procurement and coordinate with authorized suppliers.
- Monitor billing and ensure accurate documentation of pharmacy transactions.
- Train and guide pharmacy staff on proper procedures and medication safety.




- Prepare pharmacy-related reports and submit them to management.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of the pharmacy.

Eligibility

B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.

Valid State Pharmacy Council registration.

Minimum 4 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy, preferably with supervisory/in-charge experience.

Good knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, inventory management, and medicine handling.

Good communication, leadership, and team-management skills.

Salary: Market-competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
