Performance Test Engineer

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Performance Testing, Performance Engineering, Gatling, and Scala.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing and executing performance test scenarios, analyzing performance bottlenecks, and interpreting test results.

Experience with APM and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, or Recent Relic is required.

Key Responsibilities :

- Execute end-to-end performance testing using Gatling.
- Design and develop performance test scripts using Gatling and Scala.
- Perform performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.
- Analyze performance test results and identify system bottlenecks.
- Investigate performance issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Gather non-functional requirements and translate them into performance test scenarios.
- Set up and configure test environments and test data required for performance testing.
- Create and maintain performance test scripts, documentation, and test reports.
- Use APM and profiling tools to analyze application and system performance.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Performance Testing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Non-Functional Requirement Gathering.




- Minimum 3 years of experience with Scala.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Gatling.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in GT/Performance Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Performance Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Splunk.
- Experience with APM tools such as AppDynamics, New Relic, or similar tools.

Candidate Profile :

The preferred candidate should have :

- Solid hands-on experience with Gatling and Scala.
- Solid understanding of Performance Engineering and Non-Functional Testing.
- Experience identifying performance bottlenecks and conducting root-cause analysis.
- Practical experience with APM/monitoring tools, particularly AppDynamics, Splunk, or New Relic.
- Good understanding of performance testing in CI/CD environments.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Important Screening Criteria :

- Gatling Scala experience is mandatory.
- Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in performance testing, bottleneck identification, and performance analysis.
- Candidates with relevant experience in AppDynamics / Splunk / New Relic are preferred.
