Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced PAYROLL SPECIALIST to lead,manage and process payroll for a pan-India organization of approximately 500 employees.

The role will have end-to-end responsibility for national payroll,statutory compliance management.

KEY DELIVERABLES

1. Process Payroll

- Own and manage the end-to-end payroll process across India for approximately 700 employees.
- Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, confidentiality and adherence to company policies.
- Manage HRMS data, employee records, MIS and HR dashboards.
- Establish robust HR operational processes and controls.
- Lead and mentor a small HR operations/payroll team.

2. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable central and state-level labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Oversee PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, bonus, labour welfare and other statutory compliances, as applicable.
- Coordinate statutory audits, inspections and compliance reporting.




- Ensure timely resolution of compliance-related issues and minimize organizational risk.

3. Compensation & Benefits
- Drive compensation benchmarking using relevant industry and market data.
- Review salary structures, grades, bands and compensation philosophies.
- Develop recommendations for salary revisions, increments, promotions and variable-pay structures.
- Ensure pay structures remain competitive while being aligned with organizational budgets and business objectives.

Incumbent profile:
- 15 years of HR Operations out of which last 10Y in leading payroll of a multi-location orgn, preferably in a mid-to-large organization with a pan-India workforce.
- Strong hands-on experience in HR Operations,HRMS and Statutory Compliance.
- Proven experience managing national payroll for 500+ employees.
- Solid knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory requirements.

Annual Compensation: 15-20 LPA
