Oracle Fusion HCM Data Management Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM Data Management Consultant with strong experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR, HDL/HSDL, bulk data uploads, employee data management, Position Management, and data correction activities.

The resource will support ongoing Oracle Fusion HCM data management initiatives and must be able to work independently with minimal guidance. The ideal candidate should have practical experience handling data cleanup, position restructuring, AOR updates, employee data changes, and bulk/transaction uploads in Oracle Fusion HCM.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform data cleanup, validation, correction, and maintenance activities in Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Execute bulk data uploads and transaction uploads using HDL/HSDL.
- Create, update, and correct employee/worker data in Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Work on Position Management, including position creation, updates, restructuring, and hierarchy changes.
- Support restructuring of position-based structures, including movement toward a three-tier position structure.
- Perform AOR (Area of Responsibility) updates related to access and approval hierarchy.
- Support changes to approval hierarchies and data access structures.
- Handle data uploads and updates for relevant Oracle HCM objects such as Worker, Assignment, Position, Job, Grade, Department, Location, Organization, Business Unit, Manager, and Work Relationship.
- Prepare, validate, and execute data templates for bulk uploads.
- Identify data issues,



perform corrections, and ensure data accuracy in the system.
- Support data migration/conversion and reconciliation activities where required.
- Work closely with functional and delivery teams to understand data requirements and execute changes accurately.
- Provide hands-on support for Oracle Fusion HCM data-related activities from day one.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion HCM / Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR data management.
- Practical experience with HDL (HCM Data Loader) and HSDL (HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader).
- Hands-on experience with bulk uploads and transaction uploads.
- Strong experience in employee/worker data updates and corrections.
- Hands-on experience in Position Management and position data creation.
- Experience with Position Management restructuring / position hierarchy changes.
- Practical experience in data cleanup and data correction exercises.
- Experience with AOR (Area of Responsibility) updates and related access/approval hierarchy changes.
- Ability to independently identify and explain the HDL/HSDL objects handled in previous projects.
- Robust understanding of Oracle Fusion HCM data structures and relationships.

Preferred Experience

- Oracle Fusion HCM implementation/support experience.
- Experience working on large-scale data migration or data transformation projects.
- Experience with position-based organizational restructuring.
- Experience supporting production data fixes and bulk data correction activities.
- Experience in handling complex employee and position data scenarios.
