Role Summary The Oracle Agile PLM Developer designs, develops, customizes, and maintains the Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. This role focuses on writing Java-based Process Extensions (PXs), designing robust integrations using AIS/ACS, and optimizing the backend Oracle Database. You will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions that streamline the product lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities

System Development & Customization

- Code custom Process Extensions (PXs), event handlers, and user-defined scripts using Java and the Agile API/SDK.
- Develop robust Java Server Pages (JSP), servlets, and web applications to extend the standard user interface.
- Build, deploy, and maintain custom Java extensions using build tools like Apache Ant or Maven.
- Implement and manage object-oriented architectures within Java to process complex product lifecycle configurations.
- Utilize Java-based enterprise frameworks to create scalable backend applications and background automation tasks.

Integration & Data Management

- Architect and implement system-to-system integrations using the Agile Integration Services (AIS) framework.
- Configure data publishing, change notifications, and downstream exports using the Agile Content Service (ACS) framework.
- Build web services and integration points using Java-based SOAP/REST protocols to link Agile PLM with external applications (such as CAD, ERP, or CRM software).
- Write, optimize,



and troubleshoot complex SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures, triggers, and packages for data validation and extraction.

Oracle Database Administration & Maintenance

- Monitor database health, optimize SQL performance, and tune queries to ensure optimal Agile PLM system responsiveness.
- Execute data migrations, mass data loads, and database schema updates using Oracle Data Pump (expdp/impdp).
- Collaborate on database configuration, tablespace management, and indexing strategies tailored for Agile PLM data structures.
- Administer backend database access, manage user schemas, and enforce database security policies.

System Administration & Configuration

- Configure and modify Agile workflows, attributes, business forms, and criteria.
- Manage user security settings, including roles, privilege masks, user groups, and access control lists.
- Administer core modules like Product Collaboration (PC), Product Quality Management (PQM), Product Portfolio Management (PPM), and Product Governance & Compliance (PG&C;).

Support & Maintenance

- Debug and resolve system errors, memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and user-reported issues using Java debugging tools.
- Manage software patches, system upgrades, and database-level hotfixes.
- Open, track, and manage service requests (SRs) with Oracle Support.

Collaboration & Testing





- Translate complex business requirements from engineering and supply chain teams into technical solutions.
- Create and execute test plans, test scripts, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Document technical architecture, database schemas, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Candidate Qualifications Education & Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Agile PLM development, configuration, and customization.

Technical Skills

- Programming: Advanced proficiency in Java (J2EE), Agile API/SDK, JSP, Servlets, XML, and Java debugging tools.
- Build Tools: Experience with Apache Ant or Maven for compiling and deploying custom code.
- Integration Frameworks: Direct experience with Agile Integration Services (AIS), Agile Content Services (ACS), SOAP, and RESTful web services.
- Database: Robust skills in Oracle Database administration, SQL, and PL/SQL development (stored procedures, triggers, packages).
- Agile Modules: Deep functional and technical knowledge of core modules like PC, PQM, and PPM.

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex system bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical designs to non-technical business stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.

Pay: From ₹800,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hyderabad, Telangana (Hyderabad District)
