Role Overview As the Operations Manager within the Strategy & Operations department, you will ensure structural and administrative efficiency across the All India Football Federation (AIFF). You will act as the operational spine of the department, overseeing internal workflows, driving cross-departmental coordination, tracking project budgets, and executing special, high-priority organizational initiatives.
The role will report Directly to the Chief of Strategy and Operations and would work closely on the AIFF Calendar, Internal compliance and fiscal discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal Systems: Oversee, evaluate, and optimize day-to-day internal systems and operational workflows.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Serve as the central conduit for inter-departmental collaboration to keep key organizational projects on track.
- Special Projects: Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for managing and assisting with high-priority, ad-hoc initiatives.
- Budget Control: Monitor departmental spending, coordinate project budgets, and enforce strict financial controls.
- Compliance Management:
Maintain rigorous adherence to internal policies, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of operational management experience, ideally within a sports organization, federation, or enterprise workplace.
- Project Management: Proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder projects from conception to completion.
- Financial Literacy: Strong background in budgeting, tracking expenses, and operational financial control.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional capability to manage fluid timelines and sudden operational pivots.
- Communication : Strong diplomatic skills to effectively align differing cross-departmental goals.
