We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Engineer to oversee Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance for our interior fit-out and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety standards, conducting inspections, ensuring statutory compliance, and promoting a secure working environment across project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site safety inspections and audits.
Prepare and implement Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements.
Issue and monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
Conduct safety inductions and daily toolbox talks.
Ensure compliance with client HSE requirements and statutory regulations.
Inspect scaffolds, ladders, power tools, lifting equipment, and temporary electrical installations.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Coordinate emergency preparedness and first-aid arrangements.
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field.
Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification preferred.
First Aid certification is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out, Commercial Interiors, Civil Construction, or MEP Projects.
Experience working in corporate offices, IT parks, commercial buildings, or retail fit-out projects preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to conduct safety training and audits.
Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.
