Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have robust accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in statutory compliance, payroll processing, taxation, and financial reporting. The candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations independently while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

Experience Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in the accounting field.
Freshers are not eligible to apply.
Candidates from Ernakulam are preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and maintain books of accounts, journals, ledgers, and cash/bank transactions.
Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a regular basis.
Conduct Ledger Reconciliation and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure timely filing of statutory returns including:
GST Returns
ESI Returns
PF Returns




TDS compliance and other applicable statutory filings
Process employee payroll accurately and ensure compliance with statutory deductions.
Handle WPS (Wage Protection System) processing and salary transfers wherever applicable.
Assist internal and external auditors by preparing schedules, reports, and supporting documents.
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely collections and vendor payments.
Verify invoices, purchase bills, and payment vouchers.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.
Coordinate with banks, government departments, auditors, and consultants as required.

Salary
Salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and interview performance.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
