Job Overview:
The Instructional Course Designer is responsible for creating engaging, interactive e-learning modules that effectively convey instructional content to a global workforce. This role involves designing and developing multimedia-rich digital training assets using various authoring and editing tools, collaborating with subject matter experts and instructional designers to meet learning objectives, and ensuring content accessibility and compliance with industry standards. The designer works closely with teams across multiple countries, including the USA, India, and Honduras, to deliver learner-friendly courses that support employee development.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and develop interactive e-learning modules using authoring tools
Convert instructional content into digital learning assets
Integrate multimedia elements including graphics, animations, AI voiceovers, and videos
Ensure courses are accessible, responsive, and SCORM compliant
Collaborate with SMEs and instructional designers to clarify learning objectives
Conduct QA testing and iterate courses based on feedback
Maintain version control and documentation for all course materials
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Training on e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Camtasia)
Access to multimedia editing software tutorials (Adobe Creative Cloud suite)
Templates for course design and multimedia integration
Checklists for SCORM compliance and accessibility standards
Documentation on company learning objectives and instructional design guidelines
Quality assurance standards and feedback protocols
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or related field
Experience or internships in e-learning design and development
Proficiency with at least one e-learning authoring tool and presentation software
