JOB DESCRIPTION – AREA MANAGER – NBFC

Position

Area Manager – NBFC
Department: Business / Operations
Reporting To: Regional Manager / Regional Head

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing the overall business growth, branch operations, collections, portfolio quality, compliance, and team performance of branches within the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve area-wise business, disbursement, AUM, revenue, and profitability targets.
Manage and monitor the performance of multiple branches and Branch Heads.
Drive customer acquisition, business development, and cross-selling initiatives.
Monitor collections, overdue, NPA, and portfolio quality.
Ensure compliance with Company policies, SOPs, RBI guidelines, KYC/AML, and audit requirements.
Conduct regular branch visits and performance reviews.
Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.
Lead, motivate, coach, and develop branch teams.




Monitor customer service and ensure timely grievance resolution.
Prepare and submit periodic MIS and performance reports to the Regional Head.

Qualification
Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
5–8 years of experience in NBFC/Banking/Financial Services.
Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial/branch/area-level role preferred.
Gold Loan/NBFC experience will be an added advantage.
