Job Description – Accountant

Position: Accountant
Experience: 4–8 years

Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day sales and purchase accounting entries.
Prepare and maintain Sales Invoices and Purchase Invoices.
Generate and manage E-Way Bills.
Generate and manage E-Invoices.
Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.
Verify purchase and sales invoices with proper GST details.
Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase entries and identify missing or mismatched invoices.
Assist in preparation and filing of GSTR-3B.
Check GST input tax credit (ITC) and ensure proper accounting.
Handle GST reconciliation between books, GSTR-2B and GST portal data.
Maintain Tally entries for sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal vouchers.
Handle Bank Reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
Monitor customer outstanding and supplier outstanding.
Prepare GST-related reports and statements.
Coordinate with customers, suppliers and transporters regarding invoices and E-Way Bills.
Maintain proper documentation of all accounting and GST records.
Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts.
Coordinate with CA/auditor for GST,



taxation and audit-related requirements.

Qualification
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in a trading/distribution company will be preferred.

Candidate Profile
Good knowledge of GST and accounting.
Must be able to work independently.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Robust attention to detail.
Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely accounting records.

Significant: Candidate should have hands-on practical experience in Sales, Purchase, E-Way Bill, E-Invoice, GSTR-2B and GSTR-3B, not just theoretical knowledge.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
