STORE ASSISTANT

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Assistant to support day-to-day store operations, inventory management, material handling, and documentation. The ideal candidate should have valuable knowledge of storekeeping procedures, basic ERP and Excel skills, and strong coordination abilities.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in receiving, checking, storing, and issuing materials as per company procedures.
Maintain proper stock records, inward/outward registers, and inventory documentation.
Ensure materials are properly labelled, arranged, and stored for easy identification and retrieval.
Monitor stock levels and support stock reconciliation and physical inventory verification.
Coordinate with purchase, production, accounts, logistics, and other departments for smooth material movement.
Identify shortages, excess stock, damaged materials, and discrepancies and report them to the concerned person.
Follow company procedures for inventory control, safety, housekeeping,



and material handling.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of storekeeping procedures and inventory management.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Basic understanding of ERP software and MS Excel.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Familiarity with stock reconciliation and physical stock verification.
Basic knowledge of GST invoicing and documentation.
Basic understanding of GRN, PO, stock issue/receipt, material movement, and inventory records.
Ability to maintain accurate and timely records.
Good attention to detail and ability to work systematically.
Basic knowledge of warehouse/store safety, 5S, FIFO/FEFO, material identification, and storage practices.
Ability to work effectively with different departments and handle routine store operations.
