Position Overview
We are looking for a Portuguese-speaking Accounts professional to join our Finance & Accounts team in Kochi. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting knowledge along with fluent Portuguese communication skills to effectively interact with Portuguese-speaking clients, customers, or stakeholders.
The candidate should be comfortable communicating in Portuguese, both verbally and in writing, and should be able to handle accounting-related activities with accuracy and attention to detail
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Relevant experience in Accounts / Finance / Accounting Operations is preferred.
Fluent Portuguese communication skills – mandatory.
Robust verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.
Candidates should be comfortable communicating with Portuguese-speaking clients, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and processes.
Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel.
Experience with ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar will be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in Portuguese or US shifts, depending on business requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Portuguese proficiency at B2/C1 level or above.
Experience working with international clients or stakeholders will be an advantage.
Candidates with strong Portuguese language skills will be preferred.
Ability to commute/relocate:
Kochi, Kerala (Kochi): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
