Job Summary
International Transmission Ltd. (ITL) is looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are achieved efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor daily production activities on the shop floor.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per planning.
Allocate manpower and monitor workforce productivity.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth production flow.
Monitor machine utilization and minimize production downtime.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and production procedures.
Maintain production reports and daily records.
Implement and monitor 5S and safety practices in the production area.
Identify production issues and take corrective actions.
Train and guide operators and helpers for effective work performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production workplace.
Basic knowledge of production planning and shop floor management.
Ability to handle manpower and coordinate with different departments.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting will be an added advantage.
