Job Title: Duty Manager – Cinema Operations

PVR INOX is looking for an experienced and dynamic Duty Manager to oversee day-to-day cinema operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain operational excellence, and lead frontline teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily cinema operations and ensure smooth functioning across all departments.
Handle cash management activities including daily floats, cinema imprest, shift banking, and shortage control.
Conduct daily team briefings and communicate shift targets and operational goals.
Monitor employee grooming, attendance, discipline, and overall performance.
Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, and company policies.
Conduct Quality Standards Checklist (QSC) audits and ensure display and commercial compliance.
Supervise Box Office, Food & Beverage, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and other operational areas.
Drive high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
Train, coach, and develop team members including Executives, Supervisors, and Duty Officers.
Support manpower planning,



productivity improvement, and performance management initiatives.
Take corrective and disciplinary actions when required in accordance with company policies.
Ensure adherence to SOPs and operational standards at all times.
Work closely with the Cinema Head to achieve business and operational objectives.

Required Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Sound knowledge of cinema, hospitality, retail, or customer service operations.
Cash handling and financial control experience.
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Customer-centric approach with solid operational focus.
Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
