Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations for a jewellery business. The candidate will be responsible for sales and purchase entries, cash and bank transactions, inventory-related accounting, GST, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle sales, purchase, sales return, and purchase return entries.
Record cash, bank, credit, and other business transactions.
Maintain accurate records of gold, silver, diamond, and jewellery-related transactions.
Prepare and verify invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.
Perform daily cash and bank reconciliation.
Handle customer and supplier ledger maintenance.
Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
Coordinate with purchase, sales, inventory, and management teams.
Assist with monthly and annual closing activities.
Prepare basic MIS and accounting reports for management.
Support GST, TDS,



and other statutory accounting requirements.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial records.
Verify jewellery stock and coordinate with the inventory team whenever required.
Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Positive understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation basics.
Experience with Tally / Tally Prime or other accounting software.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel.
Robust skills in ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
Positive numerical and analytical ability.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Jewellery Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in jewellery accounting, gold/silver transactions, jewellery billing, stock reconciliation, or retail jewellery operations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
