Job Summary

The BOQ Head is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, quantity take-offs, budgeting, and tender documentation for construction projects. The role ensures accurate project costing and effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review BOQs based on drawings and project specifications.
Perform quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and finishing works.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Coordinate with project, design, procurement, and billing teams.
Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Verify contractor and subcontractor bills.
Maintain BOQ revisions, variation orders, and cost records.




Support management with project cost analysis and reporting.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
5–10+ years of experience in quantity surveying, estimation, and BOQ preparation.
Robust knowledge of construction materials, rates, and costing.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Positive analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
