Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for an Occupational Therapist based in Mumbai, with a combination of in office sessions and some work-from-home tasks.
The Occupational
Therapist will assess clients with neurological and cognitive challenges, develop individualized intervention plans, and implement therapeutic activities to improve daily functioning and independence.
Responsibilities include conducting structured therapy sessions, documenting progress, collaborating with neurologists, psychologists, and coaches, and educating clients and caregivers on practical strategies for home and community environments. The role also involves contributing to group programs, workshops, and digital resources,
ensuring interventions are aligned with NeuroSphere Global’s brain health framework.
The Occupational
Therapist will participate in interdisciplinary case discussions, maintain ethical and professional standards, and support a culture of empathy, safety, and inclusion.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Occupational Therapy skills, including assessment, intervention planning, and evidence-informed rehabilitation for neurological and cognitive conditions.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine and Rehabilitation to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary brain health teams.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact with clients, families, and colleagues, and to deliver education and counseling in a clear, respectful manner.
- Candidates should possess experience or interest in Pediatrics when working with children and adolescents with developmental or neurological challenges.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and appropriate national or state licensure/registration.
- Additional beneficial skills include experience with neuro rehabilitation, familiarity with digital health tools, cultural sensitivity in diverse communities, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid setting.
- Strong organizational skills, accurate clinical documentation, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development are expected.
