Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Node.js Developer role based in Gurgaon. The Node.js Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power Skeps’ POS financing platform.

Responsibilities include writing clean and efficient JavaScript code, integrating front-end components, optimizing application performance, and ensuring reliability and security of services in production. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, architects, and front-end engineers to refine requirements, implement features, and resolve technical issues. The developer will also participate in code reviews,



contribute to technical documentation, and support continuous improvement of development practices and tooling.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Software Development and Back-End Web Development using Node.js.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with modern frameworks and libraries.
- Skills in Front-End Development and Redux.js for integrating and optimizing user interfaces.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON-based services.
- Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing practices.
- 8–12 years of professional software development experience, preferably in fintech or high-traffic web applications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and take ownership of deliverables.
