About the Role

Grey Chain AI is looking for a Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Node.js who is comfortable working with contemporary backend technologies and has exposure to AI-native development.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building, experimenting, and solving real-world technical problems, with the ability to work across backend systems, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Work with Claude / Anthropic and integrate LLM capabilities into backend applications.
- Develop integrations with internal and external systems and services.
- Write clean,



maintainable, and production-ready code.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in debugging, performance optimization, testing, and deployment activities.
- Work with modern development and CI/CD practices.

Must-Have Skills

- 4–5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Experience working with Claude / Anthropic.
- Strong understanding of backend development, APIs, and integrations.
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Jenkins.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.

Good to Have

- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Azure or GCP.
- Experience working in an AI/GenAI or AI-product environment.
- Exposure to LLM-based applications or AI-native development workflows.
- Experience with scalable backend systems.
