Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Newgen Workflow Tool Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Newgen BPM suite (OmniFlow, OmniDocs, or OmniApp), workflow automation, and enterprise application development. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing workflow-based solutions that support core business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, configure, and develop workflow-based solutions using Newgen BPM suite.
- Develop and integrate forms, rules, and business logic within the Newgen platform.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand process requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and bug fixes for workflow applications.
- Integrate Newgen solutions with other enterprise applications via APIs, web services, or connectors.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and deployment steps.
- Support and maintain existing workflows, ensuring system stability and performance tuning.
- Stay updated on the latest features of the Newgen OmniFlow/OmniDocs platform and suggest improvements.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, project deadlines, and SDLC best practices.





Required Skills & Experience:

- 2–3 years of experience with Newgen BPM suite, including OmniFlow, OmniDocs, or OmniApp.
- Strong understanding of workflow design and automation concepts.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs integration.
- Knowledge of document management systems (DMS) and process automation.
- Familiarity with SDLC processes, Agile methodology, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Ability to debug and optimize workflows for better performance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) integrated with Newgen workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud deployments (AWS, Azure) for Newgen-based applications.
- Understanding of BPMN 2.0 standards and workflow modeling.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn recent technologies.
