Data Eminence is seeking a motivated Network Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. In this role, you will support the design, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure and services.

You will collaborate with system administrators, software engineers, security teams, and other technical stakeholders to troubleshoot connectivity issues and maintain reliable network operations. This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical networking and infrastructure experience while working remotely.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Configuring and maintaining network devices and services
- Monitoring network performance, availability, and capacity
- Troubleshooting connectivity, routing, and network performance issues
- Supporting LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP services
- Assisting with network security and access control
- Configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks
- Performing network health checks and documenting infrastructure
- Supporting network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements
- Investigating network incidents and implementing appropriate solutions
- Maintaining network diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation




- Collaborating with cloud and infrastructure teams on network requirements
- Staying current with networking technologies and security best practices

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in networking or a relevant internship
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, VPNs, LAN, and WAN concepts
- Basic understanding of routing and switching
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and techniques
- Basic knowledge of firewalls and network security
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems is a plus
- Knowledge of Cisco networking technologies or CCNA-level concepts is beneficial
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud networking services is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
