We are looking for a Site Engineer who can take responsibility for the day-to-day execution and supervision of our construction sites.
The selected candidate will be assigned to a project site and will be expected to manage the site independently, coordinate labour and contractors, monitor the quality of work and ensure that construction progresses as per drawings, specifications and project requirements.
This is a hands-on site role and requires someone who understands how construction actually happens on site, rather than someone who is only familiar with theoretical aspects of civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the assigned site.
Manage and coordinate labour, subcontractors and site workers.
Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications and required standards.
Monitor workmanship and maintain positive quality of construction.
Understand construction sequences and ensure work is carried out correctly.
Check measurements, quantities and material requirements at site.
Coordinate with architects, contractors and other project team members when required.
Identify site issues and take timely corrective action.
Ensure proper use and handling of construction materials.
Maintain basic site records, measurements and daily progress updates.
Ensure the site is maintained in a safe, organised and qualified manner.
Take ownership of the assigned site and ensure timely progress.
