Job Description:

Manager / Deputy Manager — Production Planning & Control (PPC) — Premium Weaving

Role summary:
Lead production planning and control for premium Dhoti, Jari-border and Shirting fabrics on high-speed Dobby and Jacquard looms. Combine production scheduling, yarn and warp planning, loom optimization, and quality control to meet customer commitments and improve OEE.

Key responsibilities:
Plan and schedule production on Airjet/Rapier Dobby and Jacquard looms.
Ensure availability of fine cotton and Jari yarns, warp beams, sizing/warping resources.
Maximize loom efficiency, minimize changeover losses, and reduce idle time.
Coordinate with Design, Sales, Purchase, Stores, Warping, Sizing, and Production.
Monitor production performance, quality deviations, material utilization, and delivery (OTIF).

Technical skills:
Production & capacity planning, order sequencing, OTIF management.
Weaving knowledge: Dobby/Jacquard, Dhoti borders, shirting structures, reed/denting/gaiting/knotting.
Yarn & fabric calculations: consumption,



yarn counts, cover factor, GSM, Jari usage.
Systems & analytics: ERP (SAP or similar), advanced Excel, forecasting, MIS.

Success metrics:
Improved loom efficiency/OEE, optimized sequencing, timely warp beam availability, balanced customer delivery vs capacity.
Loom capacity & scheduling, warp/Jari calculations, Dobby vs Jacquard allocation, Air jet vs Rapier planning, defect root-cause analysis, ERP-based planning.

Experience:
10 -15 years in weaving PPC with premium cotton/traditional wear, exposure to Tsudakoma/Itima/Picanol/Toyota looms and electronic Dobby/Jacquard systems. Solid analytical and cross-functional leadership skills.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
