Job Title: Store Assistant
Department: Stores / Warehouse
Reporting To: Store In-Charge / Store Manager

Job Summary

The Store Assistant is responsible for supporting daily store operations, including receiving materials, maintaining stock records, issuing materials, and ensuring proper storage and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery challans.
Arrange and store materials in designated locations.
Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions.
Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory registers/software.
Conduct regular stock checks and assist in physical inventory audits.
Ensure proper labeling and identification of materials.
Monitor stock levels and inform the Store In-Charge about low stock items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), issue slips, and stock reports.




Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, and Accounts departments regarding material movements.
Follow company safety procedures and store management policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Any Degree / Diploma / Higher Secondary qualification.
Basic knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software is preferred.
Positive communication and record-keeping skills.
Ability to handle materials and work in a warehouse/store workplace.

Experience
1–3 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, or Inventory Management.
Freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
