Key Responsibilities
Handle complete import and export documentation process.
Coordinate with CHA (Custom House Agent) for customs clearance and shipment processing.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and logistics partners.
Prepare and verify shipping documents such as:
Commercial Invoice
Packing List
Bill of Lading
Shipping Bill
Certificate of Origin
LC Documentation
Track shipments and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
Maintain records of import/export transactions and inventory movement.
Communicate with international clients, vendors, and internal departments.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT norms, and international trade policies.
Coordinate with banks regarding LC, advance payments, export incentives, and related documentation.
Follow up with CHA for customs clearance, duty payments, examination status, and shipment release.
Resolve shipment delays, customs clearance issues, and logistics-related concerns.
Prepare MIS reports and shipment status updates.
Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of import/export procedures and international logistics.
Understanding of customs documentation and shipping processes.
Experience in coordinating with CHA and customs authorities.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Solid attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP/software systems.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple shipments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
Diploma/Certification in Import Export Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
1–4 years of experience in import/export operations or logistics coordination preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
