Job Summary

Sattavaa Hospitality is looking for a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong culinary skills, good knowledge of food preparation, and the ability to manage a designated kitchen section efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency.

Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the assigned kitchen section.
Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and quality standards.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Coordinate with the Sous Chef and other kitchen sections during service.
Ensure all mise en place is prepared before service.
Monitor food quality and freshness throughout the shift.
Maintain proper food storage and minimize wastage.
Assist in training and guiding Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned section.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor stock levels and inform the Sous Chef of ingredient requirements.




Ensure smooth and timely service during busy periods.

Requirements
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
Previous experience as a CDP or strong experience as a Commis I is preferred.
Valuable knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
Experience in Indian, Kerala, or multi-cuisine cooking is an advantage.
Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
Ability to manage a kitchen section independently.
Positive teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
