About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced .NET Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise-grade applications. In this role, you will lead a team of .NET developers, own architectural decisions, and collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in the .NET ecosystem, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of .NET developers — conducting code reviews, 1:1s, and performance evaluations.

• Architect and design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance .NET solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Drive end-to-end delivery of backend services, APIs, and enterprise applications using .NET Core / .NET 6+.

• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design patterns across the team.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX designers, QA, and DevOps to ensure quality delivery within Agile sprints.

• Own technical estimation, sprint planning, and risk mitigation for engineering deliverables.

• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new frameworks, libraries, and tools within the .NET ecosystem.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

• Oversee database design and optimization across PostgreSQL, or Azure SQL.

• Ensure security, performance, and reliability standards are met across all solutions.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design and DevOps practices alongside the infrastructure team.

• Manage technical debt, refactoring initiatives, and legacy system modernization.

Skills & Qualifications

.NET & Backend Development

• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core / .NET 6/7/8

• ASP.NET Core — Web API, MVC

• Microservices architecture and RESTful API design

• SOLID principles,



design patterns (CQRS, Repository, Factory, etc.)

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Azure (preferred): App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, AKS, Azure SQL

• AWS or GCP exposure is a plus

• Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments

• CI/CD pipelines: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins

Database & Data

• PostgreSQL, or Azure SQL — schema design and query optimization

• Data caching strategies and performance tuning

Architecture & Design

• Microservices and distributed systems design

• Event-driven architecture (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka)

• Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles

• API gateway patterns and service mesh concepts

• Security: OAuth2, JWT, OWASP best practices

Testing & Quality

• Unit and integration testing: xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest

• Test-Driven Development (TDD) mindset

• Code coverage standards and SonarQube or similar static analysis

Leadership & Delivery

• Team leadership, mentoring, and technical growth of developers

• Agile / Scrum delivery — sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives

• Technical estimation and project risk management

• Stakeholder communication and technical documentation

• Cross-functional collaboration with QA, DevOps, and Product teams

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of professional experience in .NET development, with at least 2–3 years in a lead or senior role.

• Robust command of C# and the broader .NET Core ecosystem.

• Proven experience designing and delivering microservices or distributed systems at scale.

• Hands-on experience with Azure or another major cloud platform.

• Experience leading and growing a team of developers in an Agile environment.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
