Role Overview

MSC Operations Multi-Site Operations -

Owns end-to-end reliability, availability, security, and compliance of multiple Edge data centers and large sites infra/MSC sites in a circle. Ensures 24x7 operations, SLA adherence, regulatory compliance, and efficient use of infra (power, space, cooling).

- Operations & Availability
- Ensure continuous 24/7 operations across all data centers and large infra sites.
- Target 100% uptime for MSC data centers and other large sites infra.
- Lead incident response.
- Ensure impact assessment, communication, and service restoration.
- Ensure root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Enforce MoP/SOPs as designed by/with Central Team
- Infrastructure & Facilities Management
- Manage core infrastructure.
- Power systems (utility, UPS, DGs, distribution).
- Cooling (precision AC, HVAC), space, racks, cabling.
- Fire detection and suppression, other passive infra.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure contract governance and deliveries with partners.
- Ensure OPEX & CAPEX for infra operations as per business plans
- Identify and execute cost-efficiency and energy-efficiency initiatives.
- Capacity & Growth Planning
- Plan and manage capacity for all Infrastructure including Power, space, cooling, and rack capacity across sites.
- Support growth and transformation for new site buildouts and expansions. Ensure Technology refresh, migrations, and infra upgrades.




- Maintain accurate records for Asset and inventory databases & Lifecycle management (install, move, add, change, decommission).
- Security & Compliance
- Ensure physical security at all locations including Access control, CCTV, logging, visitor management.
- Ensure environmental and statutory compliance including site Safety, fire, electrical, and in line with data center guidelines.
- Support Internal, External and statutory audits & close noncompliance within agreed timelines. Ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead multi-site teams having Site managers, engineers, and technicians.
- Ensure staffing and operating models covering Shifts, on-call rotations, and backup coverage.
- Develop people and culture with Training and upskilling plans & ensure a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

- Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in electrical / electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 8–12+ years in data center / critical infrastructure / facilities operations.
- 5–8+ years managing multiple data centers or large-scale critical sites.
- Strong knowledge of data center design, operations, and best practices.
- Proven experience with partners, budgets, and cross-functional leadership.
